Hi, Clara here! I live in Greer, SC with my handsome husband, three cool kids, and one spunky pup. I have always had a love for making homes beautiful and inviting spaces while full of functionality for busy families. Throughout my professional life I have dedicated myself to helping others achieve this through many different avenues. In addition, I have a science background with a degree in dental hygiene. I am quite literally trained in details and I believe this shows in my work in homes. It is thrilling to be able to provide services that enhance the lives of our clients by giving them the gift of time while achieving this in the safest way possible.

Our History...
Amanda and Clara first met during middle school in Kennesaw, GA. Their friendship was instant, and they quickly became inseparable. After only a few weeks into high school, Clara and her family moved to South Carolina. Miles away from each other they graduated high school, got married, had babies, and began their careers. Still, they remained the closest of friends by taking every opportunity to plan vacations, kids’ birthday parties, holidays, and breaks in their kid’s school schedules together.
Many of those times together took place in each other’s homes. During those sweet moments they would work on all kinds of home interior projects together, and they found that their strengths complement each other’s weaknesses. For many years they dreamed of living close enough to each other that they could be creative together all the time. In 2019 that dream came true when Amanda’s husband found out that his company would eventually be moving him to Greenville. This was the opportunity Clara and Amanda had been hoping for! So, in 2021 Clara left her career, and planted a faith seed when she started The Charmed Nest, a women owned and operated business for taking care of and maintaining the interior of client’s homes. In 2023 Amanda and her family left the only area they had ever lived in and moved to Greer, South Carolina.
Finally, after waiting all this time, their dreams have come to fruition. The duo is thrilled to get to work together to use their unique giftings and talents to serve the upstate community and their Lord Jesus. Clara and Amanda trust that the Lord will grow their faith seeds into a strong tree that will serve as a place of peace and rest for those who are overwhelmed and tired from flying through their busy days. Now their clients can come home to a charmingly clean, neatly organized, and beautifully designed nest.

We are so proud to be a woman owned and operated business that has the encouragement and support of our wonderful hard-working husbands. We recognized from the beginning that taking the step into entrepreneurship would give us the unique opportunity to show our daughters how to be successful women in business.
So, we take every chance we can to involve them in the day-to-day tasks of running The Charmed Nest. They get to watch and learn up close for right now, but we know that it won’t be long before they take all this hands-on experience and fly with it on their own.
